Inspired by traditional Levantine tile work, this rug is hand-tufted in deep blue on cream, with a floral medallion at the centre and bold corner motifs, framed by hand-finished borders. It brings the look of a classic tile floor into an entryway, a kitchen or a living room.
Patterned floor tiles are a signature of older Levantine homes, from Amman and Beirut to Damascus, and this design carries that look onto a rug: a central medallion, corner motifs and a bordered edge. The deep blue and cream tones work well in an entryway, a kitchen or in front of a sofa. At 60 × 60 cm it is a neat square that also suits placing two or more side by side.
