It is not easy being green. The Muppet himself, hand-tufted in layered greens with his big white eyes, yellow collar and that famous thoughtful pose, chin resting on his hand. A witty rug for a living room, a home office or a student's room, and a gift for any Muppets fan.
Kermit first appeared in 1955 on a local TV show called Sam and Friends, and the "It's not easy being green" song was written for Sesame Street in 1970. That history is part of why a Kermit rug lands with several generations at once. At 70 × 70 cm it is a good size for a home office or beside an armchair, and the layered greens look good with plants, wood and neutral walls.
